Ya know... this thread doesn't seem to really consist of many ramblings, in fact, I'd wager that there hasn't been a good, decent sized rant in here for ages, seeing as most of this thread seems to be filled with random musings and the like, which isn't really something I'd call ranting, certainly not like one big, long run-on sentence that starts with a point but then is quickly derailed into the realm of insanity, sort of like an armored train filled with cheesecakes, because you know how soldiers love their cheesecake, and so the train is going to deliver the cakes to the frontline where they're needed the most, but then a sudden ambush from an opposing army strikes the train and the tracks are broken, and the train goes off the tracks, and then crashes into the forest and cheescakes spill everywhere but they're not spoiled because it's winter and it's so cold that the cakes freeze and keep, so the enemy picks them all up and brings them back to their side, but then the global cheesecake economy is thrown out of order and the cake bank collapses and the world falls into a cheesecake depression because the original army who made the cakes didn't have a liscense to do so and it pissed off a lot of good, hard working people and then a new war started and got so big that it eliminated the need for the old one which went into retirement and ended up playing bingo everynight, waiting for the kids to call up and visit but they never did because they were spoiled and ended up dying in a terrible car accident which was so tragic and so taxing on the world's population that nobody really felt like having a war anymore so they all stopped fighting, and the balance of the Force was restored, but I never finished telling the story about the cake train which got derailed and then went off the tracks and crashed, but a smart guy named Bologna, which was also his father's name, who was a mechanic that fixed East German cuckoo clocks, but Bologna wasn't a mechanic he was a surfer by profession, but he had always liked fixing cake train sets when he was young, because all the children in his village would bring their broken cake train sets to him to fix, and he did, but that's a story for another time, and Bologna fixed the cake train and then a friendly monster named Bobo lifted the train up and put it back on the tracks, and all of this reminds me that some really long run-on sentences can actually get back to their original topic, which reminds me that I don't think I've ever seen very many long rants in this thread, which is strange, given the name, and, as I previously stated, the fact that so many people put, instead, brief musings of random thought which may or may not have something to do with a previous topic, but I suppose that's what all thought could be considered really, a collection of random thoughts that all have something in common, and that common thing is identity which is a big part, if not the centerpiece, of the human experience, which is why everyone needs someone because we're all looking for love, unless you're a psycho-killer, kisskakay, in which case you're probably looking for something to do because you were driven insane by boredom and lack of something to do, although I suppose you could always go online and post a really long run-on sentence that only really gets to "the meat of the issue" near the end of it's life, when the author brings back to light his main point, which was his only real point to begin with, that this thread, despite it's name does not seem to be so full of ranting after all!

Nope he's a speed run freak. Managed to beat all optional and main quest. Also Bethesda staff hold a speed run comp after game was complete. The record set was ridiculously short. About 4.5hrs I think. I'm only lvl10 still. killed 3 dragons and spent 3hrs trying cure vamperism.

I find vamperism more annoying in skyrim than oblivion but it depends on how you wana play. When I eventually start a new play through I'm gonna make a razial of sorts from soul reaver type character and torment villagers. I haven't really tried doing the whole werewolf thing. Good thing I have enough upper body strength to pull myself up... Some people aren't that lucky... Like the person that was in the truck with me... Luckily... I had a pair of ladders in the back of the truck... Well... About five feet away from the truck at that point, but meh... Whatever.

I was in GameStop yesterday per-ordering Mass Effect 3, The Darkness 2, Asura's Wrath, and Dragon's Dogma, when this kid whose family was in front of me came up to his mom with a case for a Spiderman game and yelled "LOOK MOMMY SPIDERMAN!" She then told him that he has to either choose the game they already had up there or Spider an and he stood there for what felt like 5 minutes (I know I'm over exagerating) until he decided what he wanted and put Spiderman back. Before that he picked up something they already had and had to yell at them when he was right next to them about it. I know it's normal for kids but I HATE IT! I hope I never have to have kids. But part of me wants to knowing that eventually I'm gonna be old and fragile and I need someone to do the heavy lifting. -_- God being human sucks. I'd rather be a Gorilla at a zoo. Just sit around, food everyday, and just scratch my ass, jerk off and bang on the glass between me and some school kids to scare them off. And not one of those shitty little zoos, but a big nice one where I hang out with smaller version of my primate species. That would be awesome. No predators, no worries. Or at least one of the smaller monkeys so i can swing around and throw semen and feces at school children.

These flying spiders are starting to get on my nerves... They always just float carelessly by right along my field of vision... I'm afraid they'll land in my eye and inject their poisonous venom into my brain... I don't want poison venom in my brain. But I don't think they're poisonous. They're teeny tiny little spiders... Like... Three times the size of a common flea. Or as big as a tick that hasn't engorged itself on blood... But their ability to hover in place right in front of my face is very annoying... And it seems the more I kill, the more there are the next time I come into my office...

And another thing... My office seems to also be where my mother keeps her saddles and other horse riding gear, but she never rides her horses, so the saddles just sit here and gather dust... It makes me wonder why she just doesn't sell these things... They take up so much space and are never used... I'm starting to think my mom is a hoarder. I tripped over one of the saddles earlier... Almost busted my head over the computer desk. But I didn't, so it's okay. But really it's not and I need to get rid of all this useless leather crap. Or maybe I should keep it for when fossil fuels are all used up and internal combustion engines are no longer able to run... I had a five year old battery in my truck and the damn thing almost stranded me... I had to walk 2 miles to a Theisens and buy a 70 dollar battery, then walk back the 2 miles carrying a 55 lb battery for my POS truck... All with this idiotic grin on my face while the spiders danced around me like I was a mexican hat... That's when they came... All over... In my head... With knives! And bubbles... Bubbles everywhere, but if I touch them I pop... SO MUCH SPINNING! And the colors... So vivid and clear, but only two of them... They both taste like purple, but they look like moon cheese... I'd say that a movie based on anything by Lovecraft (or any horror to some extent) could be fantastic or terrible, all depending on how it's done. Some of the most terrifying aspects of Lovecraft's work was that it left so much to the imagination, it left so much that couldn't be imagined. Literally, many of the horrors in these mythos are beyond human comprehension. It's like a fear of the unknown, but even worse. That said, it could be difficult for a movie to capture the true feeling.

That's why it's perfect for del Toro. He's good with monsters; he's made Hellboy and Pan's Labrynth for instance. Plus, James Cameron's the producer. The only problem is finding a studio to keep the R rating that del Toro wants. Warner Bros' wanted him to lower it to a PG-13 flick in order to boost sales, but del Toro would have none of that. He's currently looking for another studio.
