This is the battlegrounds. I am attempting to recreate a place where any of our Role Playing characters can duke it out in the rings. This is a place to have a little fun, work out the kinks in your RP character, or even give a little character development to them while you're at it.
Here are the rules:
Rule 1:
If you wish to issue a challenge to another player, it must officially be done in here. I must approve them because the must follow the rest of the rules in this thread.
Rule 2:
ABSOLUTELY NO GODMODDING. None at all unless it is within compliance of Rule 3.
Rule 3:
I'll give some variety to the formation of the duels, so if you want to challenge more than one character, you may. These are the lineups
1 Vs. 1
1 Vs. 2
1 Vs. 3
2 Vs. 2
3-way free-for-all
4-way free-for-all
God modding characters can only battle on 1 Vs. 1. This is to cut down on the abuse of power that comes with the characters.
Rule 4:
Pretty much any environment can be used. I encourage you to be creative when selecting a battleground. Maybe a Wal-mart where you use random crap to help you fight or a high-rise office where there's plenty of places to set traps. Generic fight settings are still allowed, such as forests, caves, mountains, snowfields, Helm's Deep, Gotham City, you name it.
Rule 5:
Try to act in character at all times when possible. There is no way your character can hear the trip wire upstairs in the girl's bathroom. If you discover a trap or fend off an attack, do it in character and not use the excuse 'Because I'm that awesome.' The same goes for going on the offensive. Be reasonable in how much you're capable of doing.
Rule 6:
Chatting is allowed before, after, and during duels, but keep it necessary to events at hand and don't let it get too out of control.
Rule 7:
Role play a little, will ya? Have some fun, get in character, cut loose a little.
