NEW ROLEPLAY (Yumi and company) (OCC, Sn, D)

Okay now i'm kind of lost on the whole shenanigans, so I will make a story based roleplay! Sex and adventure!:p

First up: What timeline do you all want? Setting ideas? Overarching story? Give me your ideas.

Rules:
As an author, I am able to write really cool and interesting stories, so I will play as Yumi (myself), and the narrator. Basically, this means that anything I write in BLUE is the narrator, and normal text is me. The narrator will only describe settings, non-roleplayer characters, and stuff like that.

I like the idea. to be honest for simplicity we should probably leave out numbers stats ext. to an extent at least. These D&D elements would complicate things. I read the RIFT wikipedia page and My brain is starting to throb. How about we give it 1 week to think through our characters. Yumi are you sure you dont want to have a character. If you want we could all act as a collective "dungeon master". Whether it goes in the RIFT direction or not ultimately I like where things are going with this. So for the todo list:

I think we should post characters and the quest 5-8pm Friday Server time.

We can view this as a prototype for future Tentacle D&D's so things dont need to be perfect and we can make changes at the end or even during the quest

The only issue there is that when everyone's a GM, people's plans get messed up because everyone is trying to have things go in their direction at the same time as everyone else's. Time limit's not so great, I personally think we could probably kick things off with three or four people and introduce new characters as we go like you would in a normal DnD game, and I actually think the DM needs to keep the quest secret from us if possible, don't want the story spoiled. On an unrelated note, I have a DnD 3.5 book people may be interested in- the "Book of Erotic Fantasy"- if we do end up playing a fantasy game (which I'm honestly more fond of than a futuristic, but I can work with either.)
Also, hands up if you agree that this is the longest post I've ever written. 'Cause I think it is.

Well I have to agree with you on the futuristic thing I would prefer a magic, swords, ogre's and the like. I thought by setting a deadline we could then those of us here could flesh out our characters, and you could think a little about what you want to have happen and have a backdrop ready. I agree that the whole quest shouldn't be revealed though. I also agree that 1 DM should exist rather than a collective DM. For future D&D RPG's we'll just switch DM's so every1 gets a chance to have a character. Finally if you put all your text in bold blue or something that might make the story easier to follow.

Also on a fun side note when you speak what voice should we all imagine the text in?

Yes, but everything is ULTRA toned down. So someone without beast-rider skills will do very poorly riding an animal, and someone with minimal beast-riding skill would do a little better. So think about what O.C.C you want, and choose it wisely. DEADLINE FOR CHARACTERS IS TOMORROW.

Jeez, okay new rule. instead of percentages we are using points for skills. 1 is 5%, and 20 is 100%.
Also, you don't need all of that stuff at the beginning, up until the skills. Everything else is fine though.
