So can the avatars be bigger not 80 x 80 pixels?

I asked ages ago, still don't really understand why they're smaller.

It doesn't really bother me. I find it helps with loading times and is easier to focus on what people are saying when their avatar doesn't take up half the screen, lol. But maybe 120 x 120 would be a 'little' better... What's that like 40 more pixels? Yeah. But like i said, if they don't change it i aint complaining.

Some people love to flaunt their avatars and show them with much detail as possible. I am one of those people.

-_- ...You be quiet.

And as for the flaunting of the avatars... I can relate to that, but sometimes speed and performance is more important to people than visuals and purtiness.

Having avatars of a slightly larger size wouldn't imapct that much on performance. If TR was so worried about that, he wouldn't allow members to post images like the one I used above. Unless your PC is made of wood, I doubt it would struggle to load larger avatars.

The only problem might be the forum itself. It might be cheaper in terms of bandwidth and fancy stuffs to have smaller avatars and smaller PM boxes (another change from the old forums), seeing that this site isn't designed to be profitable.

...Actually made of mud and twigs with a little bit of leaves.

Anyway. I recently found a website that uses an updated version if whatever this is... It's all got big avatars and such, but it doesn't have you fine folk. What i'm trying to say is that the other website does take noticabley longer to load than this one... And i believe it has SOMETHING to do with the larger avatars... Although that's probably just a minor factor. (as you can see, at this point I have no idea what i'm talking about... Sooo... I'll just stop talking about this.)
